Sightings of Ghost Ship Confirmed!

A paranormal phenomenon of a ghost ship was spotted on the River Taw on Friday night. The apparition was seen by the two man crew and six passengers of a small landing craft which had been launched only minutes earlier from RMB Chivenor in a secret bid to discover if the rumours were true.

No sooner had the crew navigated onto the middle of the river then the first sighting of the ghost ship was seen. “At first it didn’t seem possible”, said one passenger who didn’t want to be named, “yet the evening was clear and the water calm so there was no way our eyes were playing tricks.  Everyone

knows the camera doesn’t lie and we have captured the images both on film and video footage.”

The sighting of the ghost ship further confirms that an attack on The Fathom, a bare masted sailing ship moored at RMB Chivenor, near Barnstaple, is imminent.  The BAO at RMB Chivenor, Major Paul Shergold, has identified the target date as the evening of Saturday November 3 when the annual firework display organised by Barnstaple Round Table and the Armed Forces takes place.
